MCC Freeze Robotics and Drones Demonstration Night
Hosted by the MCC Education Foundation
The evening of April 28, 2023 found the MCC High School buzzing with activity. The MCC Education Foundation hosted a night to meet the MCC Robotics and Drone Teams. These teams have been very successful as they have gone to National Championships, this year and in the past. The awards they have won this year alone are impressive. Advisors Katie Melgaard and Barry Busacker guided the audience as the teams demonstrated what they do during competitions. Mark Knutson emceed the evening. A lunch, catered by Humblebee's, was served and many door prizes were handed out. Zack Nicklin from Northland Community & Technical College gave a short talk on the opportunities that a degree in Unmanned Aerial Systems will give students. All proceeds from this event will benefit the MCC Drone and Robotics Programs.
